A Deadlock is a high-security mechanical lock that operates independently from the van's central locking system. It adds an extra layer of protection by inserting a separate bolt into a bracket on the opposite door frame, requiring a separate key to lock and unlock. This makes it much harder for thieves to force entry, even if they bypass the original lock.

Product Overview - Hook Deadlocks

A Hook Deadlock is a high-security, independent locking mechanism that uses a hook-shaped bolt to secure a van door. Unlike the van's factory locks, it is operated by a separate, high-security key and hooks into a receiving bracket on the opposite door frame, creating a very strong and durable lock that is resistant to being forced open. This provides an extra layer of physical security.
